November 5th, 2023, HPY Technology's sensor-based ore sorting technology and manufacturing plant welcomed Abdullaev, the 1st Deputy Governor of Tashkent Region, Uzbekistan, and his team during their official government excursion to explore environmentally friendly innovation for the development of Tashkent in its mining sector.
The distinguished delegation was warmly greeted by Fuzhong Huang, HPY's Marketing Director in Russia and Central Asia. The Uzbek delegation came at a time where HPY is at its busiest. After the last few months in Ganzhou, Jiangxi, HPY had already completed tests to newly upgraded Circle Series, Insight Series and the Golden Coal Series sorting machines. The Circle Series is the world’s first ring-shaped dry separator, with 3.14 more processing capacity than the average ore sorter. The Insight Series provides powerful VIS HD visible light imaging + X-ray single and dual-energy imaging; while the Golden Coal Series specializes in dry coal sorting. Now approaching close to the end of the year, HPY’s manufacturing team is working to get the final product into its final iteration and ready for shipment. For example, one Insight Series, the machine is planning to be shipped on November 11th.
After the touring HPY's headquarters, they held a meeting to further engage in insightful discussions about the future of the mining industry, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and promoting clean energy solutions to meet the Environmental, Society and Governance (ESG) requirement and the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
HPY Technology and Uzbekistan’s government’s current negotiation is set under the general Belt-and-Road initiatives established by the Chinese’s government. Back in August, the Tashkent delegation also attended a ceremony celebrating the start of operations with the Tashkent 6300 t/d cement project invested by Anhui Conch Group. With an investment of $320 million, and annual cement production capacity of 2.5 million tons, the Tashkent Conch Cement project is set to start production in the upcoming year of 2024.
From this excursion to HPY’s facilities and earlier multi-million business projects, it is obvious Abdullaev and his government is serious at making sure the Uzbek industry is equipped with most up-to-date mining and infrastructural typed facilities and technologies, he is keen on meeting the environmental protection requirements, and promoting local employment in order to benefit the community. Lastly, the Uzbek side expressed gratitude to the Chinese side and pledged support for the upcoming projects.
